FiberBlisss

Thank you FiberBlisss for providing us with review samples!

Many people associate fiber as remedy for constipation. Did you know that fiber has other health benefits as well? Some of these benefits include maintaining/losing weight, reducing type 2 diabetes, heart disease prevention, increasing beneficial gut bacteria, and reducing risk of colorectal cancer. As good as these benefits are, most people are not getting enough fiber in their diets. Current guidelines recommend 25 grams per day for women and 38 grams per day for men, yet the average American consumes only 10–16 grams daily. During a recent physical, I discovered that my cholesterol is a little elevated. Soluble fiber can help lower LDL cholesterol levels.

FiberBlisss is made from whole fruit powder and contains both soluble and insoluble fiber. To reduce inflammation, each flavor has ginger, quercetin, magnesium, and pantothenic acid added to them. Each container has sixteen servings at only ten calories apiece. There are no fillers or dyes added. The subtle sweetness comes from monk fruit.

As of this review, there are three flavors available: Berry Blisss, Orange Oasisss, and Strawberry Sasss. Out of the three flavors, the favorite between my husband and I is the Berry Blisss. If I were to spend $34.99 on any flavor, it would be the Berry Blisss. In case you're wondering, the price per serving comes out to $2.19. The Strawberry Sasss tasted like dehydrated cereal strawberries mixed in water, and the Orange Oasisss tasted like a chalky and diluted Tang. I'm not really a liquid fiber connoisseur, so I can't make comparisons on flavor. However, I can say that the Fiber Blisss drinks taste better than the flavorless stuff I had to drink for my colonoscopy prep.

If you're looking for a natural approach to add more fiber to your diet without the calories, check out FiberBlisss. To get the full benefits, be sure to stir the powder really well and drink it before it settles. For anyone looking for a fiber supplement I highly recommend checking out the Berry Blisss flavor.
